How many years have you been on staff with Hartford United SC?
This is my first year coaching with Hartford United SC, but I’m proud to be a former player of the club, having spent eight seasons here growing up. I have had the opportunity to support the Micro program for one season.

Why do you coach youth soccer?
I coach youth soccer because I’ve played the game my whole life and want to give back to a sport that has given me so much. I love creating a fun and supportive environment where kids can build confidence, learn teamwork, and grow their love for the game. Coaching U7 is especially rewarding because I get to watch young players take their first steps on the field and cheer them on as they discover their potential.

What is the best advice you could give young players?
Remember that soccer—and all sports—should be fun! It’s a chance to build friendships, stay active, and enjoy the game. We’ll work hard and compete, but most importantly, we’ll have fun while learning and growing together.

What is your favorite hobby (outside of soccer)?
Outside of soccer, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. I especially love soaking up Wisconsin summers and visiting family out of state.

What is your favorite movie?
Mamma Mia

What is your favorite food?
Sub sandwiches

Did you play soccer growing up?– If so, how many years?
I started playing soccer at age 4 and continued through the fall of 2024. I played 8 seasons with HUSC, 4 years for Hartford Union High School, and 4 years at Concordia University Wisconsin on the women’s soccer team.

Who do you look up to as a coaching mentor?
Growing up, I was fortunate to play for many great coaches throughout my soccer career, but the one I looked up to most was my dad, Ryan Roskopf. As a former coach in the club, he supported me at every stage—from club and high school to college. His positive approach to competition, along with his emphasis on growth and teamwork, continues to shape how I coach today.

Why HUSC?
As a former HUSC player, returning to the club as a coach has always been a goal of mine. The positive experiences I had here as a player motivated me to come back and help create that same environment for the next generation. I was drawn to HUSC not only for its strong sense of community but also for its knowledgeable coaches and great reputation.
