I played soccer for 14 years, with HUSC I was with the club as a player from 2016-2018

Who do you look up to as a coaching mentor?

I look up to Jim Schrot as a coaching mentor because of the style he coaches. He coached me as a player, and now from a coach’s perspective, I see why he coaches in such a style and why it’s effective. He also taught me things such as responsibility and accountability as a player which is something I also want to teach the players at the club.

Why HUSC?

I chose to coach at Hartford United because I want to give back to the club that transformed me to the person I am today. I want to instill those lessons and good qualities into the players because they don’t only apply to soccer, but will help later in life. I genuinely enjoy teaching soccer, and it starts with technique. I want to develop technical players at a young age so that they can experience high level soccer when they are older.
