Where are you currently playing and what position(s) are you playing?
I am currently playing with Carson FC, an Army team based out of Fort Carson Colorado. I am currently playing in the goalkeeper position.
Do you have a goal to play professional soccer after college?
If the opportunity comes I would definitely love to play professionally, currently I am planning to try out for the All Army Soccer Team.
Do you plan to coach once your playing career is over?
I definitely plan on coaching whenever my soccer career is over, its something I could see myself doing.
Did you play rec soccer before coming to HUSC?
Yes I did play rec soccer before coming to HUSC, I used to play with the Richfield Soccer Club.
Were you excited or nervous to join HUSC?
I think I was more excited to join HUSC than nervous, because I have worked with Jim Schrot before and always liked his style of coaching.
Any memories of that transition that you can share for new players joining us?
No memories come to mind, just make sure you are open to learning different styles of play.
If you could meet up with one HUSC coach for breakfast who would it be and why?
I would probably meet up with Jim Schrot, because he has tons of advice to give both on and off the field.
If you had to do it all over again, is there anything that you would do different?
I wish I would have joined HUSC a lot earlier than I did.
What was most important to you in your development as a player with Hartford United SC?
The most important to me was probably working with Craig Anderson in the goalkeeper training sessions. These sessions helped me develop my goalkeeping to a higher level.
What is your proudest accomplishment with Hartford United SC?
My proudest accomplishment was probably making the team, because I knew making the team would develop me into better player on and off the field.
What advice would you give current players as they set goals in hopes of playing at the college level?
Always be open to criticism. I always loved getting criticized after a game or a practice, because then I know what the coaches are looking for and what I need to do to make myself better.
