Do you have a goal to play professional soccer after college?

No hopefully I can continue to play in an adult league though

Do you plan to coach once your playing career is over?

Yes, I actually plan on coaching a youth club team this summer

Were you excited or nervous to join HUSC?

Yes I was excited to play on a high level team, but I was nervous to join a team that had been playing together for so long.

Any memories of the transition to HUSC that you can share for new players joining us?

The first day of tryouts one of the girls that had already been on the team introduced me to a lot of the past players, and it made me feel instantly welcomed.

If you could meet up with one HUSC coach for breakfast who would it be and why?

Jim Schrot because he’s seen me play since I was a freshman in high school, and he’s the one who recruited me to come play for HUSC.

If you had to do it all over again, is there anything that you would do differently?

I think I would have joined HUSC a year earlier so that I was able to play with them for more than one season.

What was most important to you in your development as a player with Hartford United SC?

Coach Jim Dietlmeier played me in multiple positions throughout the season which really pushed me out of my comfort zone, but overall it improved me as a player.

What is your proudest accomplishment with Hartford United SC?

We beat my old team in championships of the Kick Some Grass tournament.

What advice would you give current players as they set goals in hopes of playing at the college level?

Your work ethic is what will get you to the next level. Put the time in on your conditioning and your footwork and coaches will notice. Don’t be complacent with where you’re at.
